in april, I was fortune enough to showcase two games that I made at @powerhousemuseum ALT:GAMES festival. i made these games through an @aceparramatta and @mitw_creative workshop called Beyond The Script where we learnt Ink, Twine, and Bitsy over the course of a month from the guys over at @serenadegames
this whole experience was surreal. i’ve always enjoyed playing games growing up, but i had never really considered exploring storytelling through games until now. it’s such whole new world, and it’s made me appreciate games a whole lot more. right now, i’m playing clair obscure: expedition 33, and it’s so amazing. i’m very grateful that i was able to experience this, and learn skills that i previously didn’t have

I made a few vids for a new, non-toxic activewear brand called @wearwyat . trash was delivered in 9:16 and sprint was delivered in 16:9, so I just made them both square. thanks instagram. I also got the biggest tan after this shoot, but it’s chill.

when I think of 2025, it feels like I didn’t do that much. burnout is one hell of a thing. where is the balance when turning a hobby into work? though I didn’t do as much as I did in 2024, the projects I did do in 2025 were so new to me, and ambitious, and they were way out of my comfort zone. I was able to make a video for Puma, direct an animated music video, direct a short film someone else wrote, shoot a feature film, work with original props. that’s all insane ! I think it’s so easy to get caught up in what I didn’t do, or what I should’ve done, when I should be appreciating what I did do. I’ve learnt a lot. hopefully, I’ve grown, too. it’s weird that as each year passes, there’s just more and more stuff to navigate. that’s life, I guess. thank you again to those who continuously believe and trust in me. thank you to those who put up with me and all my quirks. thank you to the ones who came and the ones who have gone. thank you to you all. I have a good feeling about 2026. a new clatoons era, perhaps? more films, more projects, more art, more life? who knows? whatever I end up doing this year, I’ll make sure to look back on it with fondness. I have to give myself compassion, and I have to remember to just keep swimming ⭐

my first feature film as a DOP !!! i’m so grateful that Graeme trusted me with his baby. this was one of the most fun, smooth, respectful sets ive ever been on. 3 weeks of pure fun and good vibes. it’s not often you get off a long form and go, “wow that went really smooth and really well.” i think it’s safe to say that we became a family afterwards. love you guys 💛
special thanks to @sinclairsuhood and @bill_wush for being my backbone. they supported me so much throughout this whole process and listened to me yap about whatever came to mind on set. also, they’re amazing bloody photographers. all of these photos were from them
i learnt a lot from this experience, and im very keen for you all to see this film. hopefully this is just the beginning :))

man, where do I even begin with this??? We started this project nearly 11 months ago now. It's surreal that it's finally here, with the help of such an incredibly talented and dedicated team. To Jess, Phoebe, Jade, Josephine, Rachel who animated and Clarence who directed, I love you guys. Without your help this simply would've not existed. Thank you so so so much 🫶

shot this for my bro @dfa_films last year. donnie has such an interesting approach to filmmaking and it’s always so refreshing for me to try and forget what I usually do and do what feels right with his approach. this film was predominately set in a car, which would be a nightmare for a low budget short film, but I have to shoutout my cam and lighting dept who made it easy for me. also i got to drive a mustang for the first time on this shoot so that was sick

this was a 3 week away block at a farm near Goulburn with tiny houses, fluffy cows, pretty sunsets, and foggy nights. though some days were tougher than others, I do look back at the shoot with fondness, and also an admiration for the passion everyone had on this shoot to make something cool 🐰
