also wanna recap that 2025 was a good year on the music front too! went to a lot of great shows this year which is always so inspiring! and the fires made it a rough start but i got back to releasing music and had some much growth on that end which was so encouraging for how much work we put into the ep! it was cool to finally wrap up the ep trilogy after 8+ yrs of working on it. also started working on my debut album and about little over halfway done! i’m so excited for what we’re cooking up and to actually pull this project off that i’ve been dreaming about for nearly a decade now. so much music and more to come in 2026 so stay tuned!

2025 was quite the year of change! i grew as a person through therapy. i graduated from fellowship, became a double boarded child psychiatrist, and started a new attending job. lots of ups and downs but it’s cool to finally be at the end of medical training and get to enjoy the fruits of 13 years of labor! we also added a new member to the family! cheers to another year in LA and growing into the person i want to be and living life with the people around me! love yall!

i get this so much: “I don’t know how you do everything you do” honestly, i don’t either sometimes. working as a child psychiatrist is a lot. living a 2 hour min round trip from work is a lot. being in fellowship is a lot. studying for boards is a lot. flying up to the bay every other weekend to be able to afford rent and pay for music is a lot. doing sessions twice a week and working on writing more songs in between is a lot. making content 😩😭 and marketing is a lot. doing all this and trying to have a life outside of it is a lot. last week at disney, my cofellows were like “you’re so stoic” and in my head i was like “dude, i’m just always tired.” i had filmed some content for red rover but legit haven’t had the energy or time to edit them. and i’ve been trying to write the songs for my 15-song debut album. and trying to stay in shape and hang with friends. i type all of this as i’m laying down on my couch not wanting to get up for my session today 😅 sometimes it feels like my life would be soooooo much easier without music. i’d have so much money. so much free time. so much more energy for everything else! BUT MUSIC AND CREATING IS SUCH A HUGE PART OF WHO I AM! i’m a creator and a storyteller at my core. when we took a break after i drove myself insane finishing this ep, i didn’t know what to do with myself. there’s too much joy in creating something from nothing but a feeling. from a little melody your head. one short phrase. and hopefully turning it into something that resonates and touches other people or just makes them want to dance! and so i keep creating! i’m so proud of this ep! it’s the most authentic thing i’ve made. it’s the scariest thing i’ve made. it’s the blackest thing i’ve made. to those who where around a year ago, you saw the million flights to make extra money and music sessions it took to make this. you’ve heard the extremely wide variety of singles…so get ready cause the full thing is coming and it won’t disappoint!!
