Class Sizes: 6 students (min 4) Minimum Age: 12+ Dates: 📗 Saturday, January 31, 2026 📘 Saturday, February 14, 2026 📕 Saturday, February 28, 2026 Hours: 9-5pm Location: Classic Letterpress 406 Bryant Circle, Unit I Ojai, CA 93023 Description: In this workshop, participants will gain hands-on experience by setting type, printing on a Vandercook proof press, and binding a limited-edition book. Each individual will leave with a book containing the collective printed pages from everyone in the class, a one-of-a-kind keepsake of the work done together. About the Instructor: Norman Clayton, a master letterpress printer, brings 35 years of experience in crafting unique and expressive books, a passion that took root in the Type Shop at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Having previously taught this popular class through the Ojai Valley Museum, he finds teaching to be a fun and rewarding endeavor.
