For the first time ever, the unique meeting of electronic anthems and symphonic power leaves the capital to reach a new landmark. Following the monumental success of two sold out 10th anniversary concerts at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki this past January, the acclaimed masterpiece, Classical Trancelations in Concert, now makes its debut at the iconic Tampere Hall on Friday, August 28th, 2026.
This arrival marks a new chapter for a phenomenon that has broken records, reached millions, and sold out concerts in minutes. Now, the experience comes to Tampere, a city where deep electronic music roots meet a world renowned reputation for the arts. This night will be a celebration of both, performed in a venue famous for its exceptional acoustics and atmosphere.
At the heart of the production are composers Petri ”Lowland” Alanko and Pessi Levanto, whose massive symphonic arrangements will be brought to life by the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. They will be joined by a cast of beloved soloists including Sami Uotila, Marianna and Elna Romberg, with more names to be announced later. Led by the powerful young Maestro Ross Jamie Collins, the performance will take you through reimagined electronic music classics from Faithless and Moby to The Prodigy, Tiesto, Eric Prydz and beyond, elevating the music to new dimensions that can be felt as deeply as they are heard.
With a breathtaking audiovisual production specifically designed for the grandeur of the concert hall, raw emotion, intimacy, and epic energy will be reborn. This is more than a concert; it is a journey that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

Two weeks ago, Musiikkitalo in Helsinki breathed as one. Two sold-out concerts, thousands of hearts, and a night suspended in sound.
We could not habe imagined a more heart-filling 10-year anniversary. A true homecoming.
Some 200 people came together to bring this experience to life, and nearly 3,500 carried the energy with us. Some nights don’t fade. They stay.

Joining Lowland, the Helsinki Philharmonic and Ahjo Ensemble, conducted by Ross Jamie Collins, are five outstanding soloists who bring both history and new energy into this concert.
Marianna and Sami Uotila, together with Jukka Perko, are beloved crowd favorites and familiar faces from past Classical Trancelations performances. Returning to the stage feels like welcoming old friends home.
Alongside them, we are excited to introduce Gracias and Jennie Storbacka, joining Classical Trancelations for the very first time and adding fresh voices to the experience 🌟.
Together, they elevate the performance even further, breathing new life into beloved works while unveiling entirely new music created especially for this concert.

And now, as a new year begins, we are counting down once again. In just days, the hall will fill, the orchestra will take its place, and the music will return to life. 9th of January is getting closer 🎻

FRI 9/1 – Classical Trancelations Afterparty
Here’s a bit of special programming to make the start of 2026 just a little more euphoric. On Friday, the 9th of January, Kaiku is proud to present the afterparty for the decade-in-the-making second edition of Classical Trancelations in Concert at Musiikkitalo. In room one, the approach will be trance with a capital T, as the legendary dj Orkidea makes his Kaiku debut. There will also be Mr. A, Oded Peled and Suski offering their own trancelations spreading across the genres. Meanwhile, in room two, trance is taken perhaps more as a foundation to deconstruct and build anew, and who better to undertake this than BELOW0 crew’s Niko Demus, DJ GL4 and MFM? A love letter to the genre, really.
