Ready to brew this week:
- A Rwandan washed red bourbon and a Peruvian anaerobic washed gesha from @hscoffee
Loving the Peruvian coffees I’ve had so far this year.
- Two Ecuadorian washed mejorados from @get.shoebox
I’m excited for these because I know it’s Max’s favorite variety, not to mention the cereal milk note.
Excited for the reveal in a few days. Waited until the last moment knowing that shoebox coffees really open up at 50 days rest. Mystery Coffee League is a really fun way to learn about coffee and put your palate to the test!
I couldn’t resist pulling a shot with this coffee grown in Yemen by Jamal Jarmah and roasted by Exposure Therapy in Singapore. So much spice and sweetness that reminds me of chai. Coffees like this are rare; sad I only have one dose left but happy I got to try it 🥲
Turbo shot with a really interesting gesha grown in Peru by Pedro Garcia and roasted by Botz Coffee. It’s not floral like most geshas but it has a really interesting note Danny describes as “lime leaf”. Also enjoyed this one as pour over.
Souping an Ethiopian landrace grown in Colombia roasted by @hydrangeacoffeeroaster at the airport. The rapid brewer by @oxo is an awesome travel brewer.
