I went out this afternoon to see the talk of the town: Manhattanâs Yellow-Breasted Chat. It seems like every birder has gone to see this guy, so I had to hop on it. This striking individual was spotted at Verizon Plaza, between Bryant Park and Times Square, so it remains a mystery why this bird chose it. I put together this long series of shots, and I couldnât narrow it down due to the profound looks me and a couple other birders, including @nikkibirding got. Mr. Chat put on quite a show! đȘ¶

Donât you just love it when a plan comes together? Ever since I found out I was going to Spain, the European Bee-Eater has been my target species. I walked through prickly plants with camouflage over my head for about 100 meters to get the shot of my dreams. đȘ¶
Special thanks to @wild_andalucia for guiding me today and showing me this spot. Ălvaro, thank you so much!

Earlier this winter, I witnessed something truly magical. I saw a Juvenile Bald Eagle catch a fish right in front of me, and then his sibling came in and tried to steal it. The first eagle dropped the fish on the ice, and fought mid-air with its sibling. Then, the parents came down and grabbed the dropped fish, took it up the lake, and they had a nice family lunch. So cool to have seen this!! đȘ¶

While around a botanical garden, I stumbled upon a family of Gambelâs Quail! The chicks were newly hatched and just foraging in a little flower bed with their dad. It was too cute not to get a shot! This was one of the best experiences I had while in Arizona. đȘ¶

Baby Least Bitterns! While in Arizona, I stumbled upon a group of Least Bitterns, and one of them was really stretching out those wings. In the third picture, you can actually see the nose structure of the wing, which I really thought was cool to see and capture. đȘ¶

MEEP MEEP! I spotted this desert speedster in its natural element over the weekend. This has always been a bucket list bird for me to see ever since I started watching Looney Tunes as a toddler. I am so lucky to get amazing views, coming as close as to 5 feet in front of me. Letâs hope Wile E. Coyote isnât around, because we all know heâs just going to end up getting hurt. I hope you enjoy these shots. đȘ¶

A few shots of todayâs Prothonotary Warbler that was a spur of the moment lifer for me. I decided to go a few hours after it had been initially reported, and Lucky enough for me, it was showing right when I arrived. With a little help from @elchingonphotography and @shenanigan70 we teamed up to track this bird, and I ended up with a few nice shots. đȘ¶

As I was walking out to the boardwalk at the Celery Fields, this Roseate Spoonbill was flying in just as I was getting there. It came super close to the boardwalk, allowing for amazing looks and a great opportunity for photography. đȘ¶

While in Florida, I got to see a couple different cowbird species. Two of them being the Shiny Cowbird, really showing off its iridescence posed at a bathing rock, and the Bronzed Cowbird, showing off its unique red eye. đȘ¶

I knew I was coming to Florida in Early April. Since then, I checked local @team_ebird hotspots to see where I could spot a painted bunting. I checked out one of the local spots, getting extremely fortunate, spotting 2 of these bright, fluorescent males. So good to get this lifer!

We pulled over to the side of the road seeing this Red-Shouldered Hawk fly into this dead tree. He was surveying the open farmland west of the road for a possible lunch, and I got fortunate enough to snap this picture of him. A great kickoff to this trip! đȘ¶

I had the opportunity to go uptown today to Inwood to see a visiting pair of Long-Eared Owls. Luckily, I arrived and they were perched quite low over a path. I found a window through the pine needles, and got this shot. I hope you enjoy! đȘ¶
