A project for the ‘ in-between ‘ because everything comes from something. # void space — drawing inspiration from the spatial logic of image, early video game polygons, and digital building blocks within the computer — the idea of a cube. Pixels function as foundational units of perception. Like color on a television, a screen is composed of countless tiny squares, each carrying minimal information on its own, yet when viewed collectively, they resolve into recognizable objects, textures, and environments. Translating this logic into physical form, where repetition, modular elements, and surface treatments investigate how small simplified structural units accumulate into complete objects. [Designed Objects] is an exploration of expectation. Spaces defined as much by what is empty as by what is filled.

🇬🇧/🇮🇹 Directly from her Los Angeles studio, @cjaslan brought DESIGNED OBJECTS to Alcova Milano for Design Week. Known for the spiked ballerinas of @aslan.world_ , the designer has expanded her artistic vision from fashion into furniture design, presenting a series of unique objects. Each piece is handcrafted, some requiring around 147 hours of work, and is defined by her now unmistakable spikes and gemstones.
