Last year, we made the biggest leap yet on our mission to be the defining employee-owned agency of our time, so weโre genuinely thrilled to see this recognised by the industry. Not only are we the first employee-owned agency to win this award, weโre also the first agency HQ-ed in the North to win too.
Our third year of employee ownership saw us welcome new brands, like @arladairyuk , @aonplc and @kellanova to our roster, and deepen specialisms like public affairs, creative and AI. It saw us innovate with initiatives like our Regional Advocacy and Intelligence Unit, our AMEC-shortlisted LinkedIn Impact Score and invest in creativity.
And crucially, it saw us set up an Employee Ownership Board to give our people even more say in decision-making, share profits with our colleagues and deliver 1,400 hours of pro bono to causes that matter most to our people and the communities we call home.
Awards like this are always a reflection of our people and the clients who trust their brands with us. Thank you to all!

Last Thursday we celebrated Employee Ownership Day at Citypress โ bringing everyone together for a day of fresh thinking, new ideas and conversations about how we grow the agency together.
The day was packed with workshops and lively discussion โ from an energetic session with @special.sauce.design founder, Matt Bolton-Alarcรณn on sharpening how we communicate our value and tell our story.
We also had the finance presentation to beat all finance presentations from @colecoote (those who know, know), plus sessions covering everything from AI tools; to pitching successfully in todayโs newsroom with our Head of News, @jon.robinson91 .
Best part? Having 120 agency owners in one room โ collaborating, debating and reminding ourselves what it means to be an employee-owned agency.
Because at Citypress, we donโt just work here โ we own it.
