We will do a tiny bit of this 😃😉🤸🏻🏃🏻🦸🏻
Hello everyone, Gayatri Shetty and I are offering an ONLINE 4-week movement intensive from 18th May to 11th June through Offstage Grounds for Practice.
The intensive will include:
• MONDAY & FRIDAY morning yoga/asana classes with me - 7 to 8.30 am
• WEDNESDAY morning pilates sessions with Gayatri - 7 to 8.15 am
Details :
Week 1 & 2 - Focus on spine health by working on back extensions - strengthening back body muscles that support arching the back and rooting the legs so the body feels invited to open in this way.
Week 3 & 4 - Focus on hip opening by working on leg stability and flexibility so people can gain deep access to this area of the body.
The poster has all the details - would love to have you join us 🌿
Please DM to register or write to [email protected].

➡️ Why Dance When No One is Watching?
An invitation to draw you into the pleasure, pain, and politics of contemporary dance
Diya Naidu and Priyabrat Panigrahi, long-time collaborators, arrive with a question they cannot stop asking: Why do we even bother? Why dance when no one is watching? This lecture demonstration is their attempt to convince you, and themselves!
The work moves through images, video, live dance, and conversation. It is devised and autobiographical, borrowing freely from cultures and artists across the world, as contemporary dance does.
Free and open to all. RSVP on website.

CHUNKY PROSE
Theatrical Poetry Workshop by Nupur Azadi
A 4-hour immersive session guiding through the living intersection of text, body, and voice. Chasing the process that creates that meaty, hearty expression of lived experiences. Beyond metaphors and rhymes, there is a voice – your voice – that lets you access an authentic storytelling, truth telling moment of clarity. That’s where we’re going.

Of the many classes and forms on offer, dance takes the most time.
But give your body time with dance in the presence of a skilled, patient and anatomically educated teacher like @priyabrat_panigrahi And watch the magic unfold !
Physical, muscular skeletal, neuronal magic.
Magic of the fascia in an intelligent moving body.
Come, discover your body and your imagination.
Dance is ancient, your body will take to it like an old friend.
Classes happen at Indranagar's @jeevanamyogaindia@jeevanamartcollective

SCREENDANCE INTENSIVE with Deepanwita Roy
Screendance is a hybrid art form that lives between choreography and cinematography , created specifically for the screen rather than a live stage.
This 4 Day Intensive invites you to explore how movement transforms through the camera, how choreography adapts to the lens, and how elements like sound, light, framing, and editing shape moving images.
Open to anyone curious about movement, camera, choreography, and filmmaking.
