Cirio Collective’s Summer 2026 season is here. ☀️
This July we return to Martha’s Vineyard for Open Ground — a week-long creative residency where our dancers will explore and build new choreography from the ground up at @vineyardarts .
During the residency we’ll be developing two new works:
• A continued creation by @jeffreycirio
• A brand new piece by @msliac

Open Ground is about process, practice, and possibility, opening the doors and sharing the inner workings of our company as we enter our 12th season. This summer is just the beginning. We’ll continue creating toward a full evening of work in Summer 2027, featuring these new creations alongside an additional new work.

Season 11 wrapped today and we are unbelievably floored by what we were able to create in just a few days. It was amazing to feel the space @vineyardarts filled with collaboration, creativity, vulnerability, and just insane dancing. We are so grateful to the dancers, the space, our supporters and everyone that makes it all happen. We can’t wait to see the future of this piece and the future of this Collective!

As we head into our 11th Season today and travel to @vineyardarts , we couldn’t forget to feature our Artistic Director, choreographer, and dancer @jeffreycirio ! Jeff is a principal dancer with Boston Ballet and has also danced for English National Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Another dancer coming back for our 11th Season is our Assistant Artistic Director, choreographer and collaborator @msliac . Lia is a currently a Principal dancer and choreographer with Boston Ballet and founding member of the Collective. She has contributed a lot through these many seasons and we are so grateful! Today, we are excited to reveal our final newest member of the Collective family… @itsjust_t.y ! Tyeri is originally from Boston and trained at The Gold School. He got his BFA in Contemporary at Boston Conservatory and then went on to dance with Little House Dance Project, BODYTRAFFIC, and most recently, Jose Limon Dance Company. We are thrilled to have him in the studio this summer and can’t wait to experience his beauty! Send him some love and a warm Collective welcome!
