A huge milestone for us at Circular Office Group 🎉
We’ve just completed our first office fit-out for @corinthiansports using our subscription model, delivering and demonstrating what a truly circular workspace looks like in practice 🏢
This project has shown Circular Office Group's true capabilities and proves that going circular isn’t a compromise. With the right planning and the right partners, you can create a workspace that works better for people while reducing environmental impact 🌱
We worked closely with Corinthian Sports to understand how their space was being used and where it could perform better. Through detailed workspace analysis, looking at desk sizes, route circulation and storage, we rethought the layout to increase workstation capacity while improving comfort and usability across the floorspace.
A key focus throughout was reuse ♻️ Instead of defaulting to new, we assessed what could be refurbished, redeployed or recovered, significantly reducing waste and newly embodied carbon.
Some highlights from the project:
🔄 Mobili office’s telescopic benching system is designed to adapt, expand and be redeployed for future spaces of any size.
💻 Refurbished Flo monitor arms from Colebrook Bosson Saunders, improving ergonomics and freeing up desk space
Refurbished FRÖVI acoustic booth to provide a quiet environment for calls and virtual meetings.
🎨 Acoustic desk screens in Blazer Light “hot pink”, bringing brand identity into the workspace
📦 Smarter storage solutions replacing bulky pedestals with slimline under-desk drawers
The impact: 🌍
♻️ 1,782 kgCO₂e saved through reuse and refurbishment (diverted from landfill)
🌱 4,000 kgCO₂e offset via the Santander and Las Tapias Renewable Energy Project 🇨🇴🌱 (Gold Standard certified)
Net impact:
A 50% reduction in emissions achieved through reuse, with the remaining impact fully offset.

✨ What a year. ✨
We launched Circular Office Group in June, and while it’s been a short year, it’s been an incredibly impactful one.
In just a few months, we’ve built partnerships we’re truly proud of, delivered our first CPDs, worked with inspiring architects and clients, and most importantly, had the opportunity to share our mission around circularity, sustainability and smarter ways of working.
This business was never about doing things the easy way or chasing quick wins. It’s about creating real impact, challenging a slow-moving industry, and proving that circular workplaces can be practical, beautiful and commercially smart.
I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way — partners, clients, collaborators, and those who’ve simply taken the time to listen, engage and believe in what we’re building. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to do what we do.
And this is just the beginning. We’ve got some very exciting things in the pipeline for the new year and can’t wait to share what’s next.

Most office furniture is designed to end up in landfill 🗑️
Everyone always asks us… "why don’t you work with cheaper furniture or brands?" 🤔
The reality is it’s not about trying to be “boujee.” It’s about avoiding waste ♻️
A bit like fast fashion, a lot of furniture today is designed for short term use whether driven by cost or convenience. But that comes with consequences.
Lower cost products are rarely built for longevity. They’re harder to repair, often lack spare parts, and are made from lower quality materials. Once damaged, they’re usually replaced rather than fixed and that’s how they end up as waste 🚛
At Circular Office Group, we take a different approach. We work with manufacturers who prioritise sustainability, transparency, and ethical supply chains alongside performance and design 🌍
This allows us to repair, maintain and extend the life of every product we use.
Even after a subscription ends, the furniture remains desirable, holds value, and can be reused, reconfigured or refreshed not discarded.

We had the pleasure of visiting @johnrobertsonarchitects in London to deliver our Circularity in Architecture CPD to the whole team.
Delivered in person, the turnout was fantastic, with over 30 attendees joining both in the room and virtually from Edinburgh and Poland!! 🌍 The team’s commitment to a sustainable future and responsible design really came through, and their proactive engagement and curiosity throughout the session was incredible! 👏
What stood out in particular is how closely their approach aligns with circular principles ♻️. From retrofit-first thinking to designing highly sustainable, high-performance workplaces, their work consistently demonstrates a focus on reducing embodied carbon, reusing existing structures and creating long-term value. A mindset that strongly resonates with our mission at Circular Office Group.
The CPD wrapped up with a short quiz, with Stephen achieving a perfect 100% score! 🎓 Congratulations Stephen!🎉

We had the pleasure of visiting the amazing team at Teknion last week 🙌
It was great to spend time properly understanding their product range and, more importantly, their approach to sustainability 🌱
One thing that stood out was their partnership with Modus Furniture. Bringing together strong design, local manufacturing and a shared focus on reducing environmental impact.
We also got to learn more about their Lume fabric, which really reflects that thinking. Designed with sustainability in mind, it’s a great example of how material choices can play a big role in reducing impact while still delivering on quality and aesthetics.
You can see that sustainability isn’t just a layer added on at the end. It runs through how they think about materials, supply chains and product lifecycles. Designing products that can last longer, be repaired and stay in circulation.
Always refreshing to see manufacturers taking this seriously and pushing things forward in a meaningful way ♻️

In an uncertain world, work needs to be more flexible.
Fuel prices are rising, commutes are getting more expensive, and more countries are starting to rethink the working week altogether.
