FashionX:Change connects students from Berlin and Atlanta to share ideas, challenge each other, and rethink how fashion is made and used. Through collaboration, conversations, and real-time creation, fashion becomes more than design - it becomes a shared system. @atlsfw #fashionxchange #circularfashion #atlsfw #fashioneducation #materialsmatter

“Fashion connects people beyond borders, languages, and cultures.” Students moved from experiencing circular fashion in Berlin to applying and rethinking it in Atlanta. Through this exchange, ideas become practice and learning becomes shared across contexts. The real impact is how people start to see themselves as part of a global fashion system. @atlsfw #fashionxchange #atlsfw #circularfashion #fashioneducation

What a way to enter 2026. Launching the first sustainable fashion student exchange, FashionX:Change, with Berlin was a proud, full-circle moment. Our students presented their work to an international audience of 200+ guests and held their own — with confidence, creativity, and purpose. So proud of the students. So grateful for the access, the collaboration, and the global community that made this possible. The future of fashion is collaborative, circular, and bold — and they are already leading it. #FashionXChange #FutureOfFashion #SustainableFashion #FashionEducation #AtlantaToBerlin

DAY 1 - Berlin Fashion Week. Our exchange students braved the snow and ice to attend the press opening at Platte with Senate Department of Economics, Energy and Enterprises Berlin State Secretary Michael Biel and a pop-up exhibition by Sven Marquardt. Next, we hopped on the bus to attend RAUM.BERLIN for amazing designer presentation with opening remarks by Christiane Arp, Fashion Council Germany. Then we were off to the @impari_moda show with an incredible finale performance by @toshin_music .

Introducing Fashion X:Change We’ve been quietly building Fashion X:Change is a global student exchange program connecting Atlanta and Berlin through fashion, culture, and circularity. Developed in collaboration with the faculty of University of Georgia, Clark Atlanta University, and the Creative Business at Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI), the program brings students into real-world, cross-cultural exchange at the intersection of education and industry. Guided by the Circularity Council, Fashion X:Change supports students as they explore fashion’s cultural impact, creative systems, and circular futures. Produced by Atlanta Sustainable Fashion Week, this program represents a new model for international fashion education. Today, we begin sharing the work. @atlsfw @goetheatlanta @kulturensembleATL @circularitycouncil
