@delululand_4ever are a performance duo working through a visual, absurdist language — building a maximalist trash-future charged with tactile, deranged energy. Their work is shaped by reuse at every level, letting found materials lead and transform what the work becomes.
We caught up with them after a visit to the CAN Reuse Hub to talk process, access, and making from street plastics and flattened cans to bin bags, paper waste and salvaged foam.
“what does every major city have? an abundance of trash…”

📍 Introducing the CAN Reuse Hub
A new Glasgow city centre space for sharing, storing and circulating materials
The CAN Reuse Hub is a physical base for the exchange, collection and drop-off of materials listed on CAN — making it easier to connect with the network and keep resources in use.
🧰 How it works:
• Browse and claim items via canarts.org.uk
• Collect from the hub during opening hours
• Drop off usable materials for others to reuse
📍 Spectrum, Floor 1
Blythswood St, Glasgow G2 7AT
(enter via Waterloo St)
made available by @outerspaces.scotland
🕒 Opening Hours
Wednesday 2–5pm
Friday 10am–1pm
The hub is located within an Outer Spaces building — please check in at reception and respect the shared studio environment.

♻️ From exhibition material to living roof.
Following @solange_pessoa_ Pilgrim Fields at @glasgowtramway , a substantial volume of materials including sphagnum moss and raw sheep’s wool were listed on CAN rather than discarded.
The exhibition by Solange Pessoa already centred organic and elemental materials. Listing them for reuse extended that thinking beyond the gallery.
One of those materials, sphagnum moss, was later reused by artist @clshallcross as a green (living) roof on an outdoor storage unit.
The moss moved from sculptural context into ecological infrastructure, supporting moisture retention, biodiversity, and micro-habitats.
Exhibition → listing → reuse → environmental application.
Circular practice in action.

🚨 WANTED 🚨 Materials needed for upcoming creative projects!
Some of the CAN community are currently looking for the following items for art-making and production — can you help?
🧸 OLD TEDDY BEARS + SOFT TOYS
🌱 ASTROTURF / ARTIFICIAL TURF (ANY KIND)
💿 CDs (ANY CONDITION)
🪡 VOILE / TRANSPARENT FABRIC
If you have any of these lying around, this is a great chance to keep them in circulation and support artists working across Scotland.
You can connect directly through the CAN website — whether you want to donate materials, list items, or source what you need.
♻️ Let’s keep materials moving.

♻️ From festival to new artwork
Following @tmsomewhere (Glasgow’s festival for experimental performance), leftover production materials were listed on CAN rather than thrown away.
One listing — 50kg of ceramic sand — later found a second life in Plummet, a sound and visual installation by @pooledotcenter , @mattyrimmmer , and @_slyn___ at @exitglasgow .
The sand was repackaged as weighted bags for sonified tanks, becoming part of a completely new work.
Festival → listing → reuse → recontextualisation.
This is what circular practice can look like in action.
