Hidden Seams tells the story of pieces of clothing made over a century ago, that have been worn, visibly mended and upgraded over the years to keep up with passing trends.
These garments have been kept and passed on through generations, enabling us to showcase them now, through physical and digital means.
Hidden Seams opens tonight at @johnstonetextilespace and runs until July 2025.

We’ve created digital twins from the work of three brilliant designers @shanaghmarie@zephyrliddell and @hayleymcsporranstudio and the amazing @mvbrownmakeup has brought our avatars to life with futuristic makeup that we have made into filters for you all to try💄
@clubhouseparadiso are pulling together a showreel of the work that we’ll be sharing this Sunday 21st Nov at 2pm, where we will host an informal q&a and launch the garments as NFTs on a carbon neutral blockchain.
@everyoneselectronic has also worked his AR magic and you’ll be able to welcome our Metaverse people into your homes!
