It's full steam ahead at CineCertified, we are developing the 2nd AC/Clapper Loader logbook as we speak. We want to hear from 2nd ACs, 1st ACs, operators, DOPs and even trainees on what you would like to see structured and how progression should be recognised in the role of a 2nd AC. The conversation centred on the challenges we're all facing - from access to training and health & safety, to consistent learning pathways across departments and grades - and how real change has to come from working together as a community, not in silos. From within not from the outside.
This wasn’t about one organisation, but about bringing voices across the industry together to help strengthen training, support progression, and improve access for crew across the whole country.
