Conquering food waste at home? A dehydrator is my secret weapon! It also helps lower food costs, since you can buy in bulk as well as prepare snacks and dried fruit and veggies at home for a fraction of their cost at the store. Here is my personal ratio of conversion when using dehydrated veggies in a recipe: 1.5-2 C of vegetables to 1 C dehydrated vegetables to ½ C vegetable powder. #stopfoodwasteday#eurestculinary #cib2048
