I forgot to post anything for two years but our short Hustle and Run won a @BAFTA !! I found this so confusing I wandered on stage holding the show notes which I had to hide behind my back. Jonny, Jono and @sazconlon make films that are unpretentious, funny and care about community. What they’ve made is heartfelt, humble and thrilling at times. They are also somewhat nice. The wonderful @wearejustso generously let me tag along, but I was very much there on behalf of the whole crew that worked on it. I drank accordingly. @chlsbrnrd my hardest suffering and best humoured camera collaborator, the energy and skill she brings to every shoot is undefeated. She pulled focus on dogs running 30+ mph at 1000fps. Didn’t break a sweat. Pictured here with unrelated cute dog. @brynscamera really quite ok once you get to know him! Also a very talented DP and operator, always a calming presence in the wake of whatever I’m doing. I always know the shoot is gonna work out if Bryn is in the team. Pictured on the coldest day of the shoot with @sazconlon @hallum_films @charlie_locke @cinelabs for shooting the very coolest looking sequence in the film while I just watched. Whippets tried to chase and eat every single piece of gear they piloted. They got every shot safely and without compromise and with big smiles. @108morts a PM who I know will always get it done. This was a low budget project but if we needed something, you found it for us. Thank you for the unending logistical and emotional support in all we do. Mostly the second one. @jackwormell for a really outstanding edit, it’s really the best it could be. I was thrilled and moved the first time I watched a cut. I’ve watched it like six times now and I still don’t even go on my phone. @katiedymmock who I don’t have any goofy photos of. I provided you some wobbly, underexposed footage that you made BAFTA winning. You immediately understood the tone of the film and made everything sing. @aceshighflyball for letting us into your lives to ask questions and make lots of mess everywhere. @channel4 for supporting and championing a very small team.
