Taking baby step to re enter my studio practice.
Life is just one thing after another
But it doesnât prepare you for this -
For all my questions left unanswered, bear hugs & conversations unspoken to slip into the universe.
Youâve taught me beautiful language of chess even when my ears werenât tuned yet. Chess is life -

Happy Earth Day~
Throwback from the most beautiful time I had in Puerto Vallarta, during @ann_weber_sculpture residency program in 22â. As you can see color was abundant from materials like stone - clay, shells & bones.
I arrived with my document book, mortal/pestle & time.
Sourcing my brush materials from old palm bark with its dense fibers, paper & canvas/binder~mediums from local fabric/art store ,also using binders like saps from trees & fruits.
Recycling the house yogurt lids /bottle Capps / seashells for palettes.
More importantly my eyes were tuned & my hands got dirty
Safety first!
Respect the land!

Imagined Realities and Unreal Fantasies traces the boundary between the internal and external world, balancing tangible truths with the subconscious. Inspired in part by the domestic architecture of the gallery, the artworks are selected to interact with and reflect upon this intimate setting, considering how the figure serves as a vessel for both private observation and fantastical construction.
