SODTHERICH by by @chu3d Original/aerosol paint and enamel on high density fibreboard, 100cm x 81cm This stunner sold in our timed online art auction to raise further funds for @sashyorks Here’s some info about the piece from Chu… This replica LUT-style sign revives the artist’s early anagram works - Sodtherich (derived letter-by-letter from Shoreditch). A rare, witty nod to urban semiotics and political wordplay, crafted from a single piece of high-density fibreboard and meticulously hand-finished. Precision-cut by hand and layered with custom masking techniques and surface erosion, featuring bold, future-proof colour planes and sculpted detail, echoing the bespoke signs once offered by London Transport. A 45° batten on the reverse ensures the piece is equipped ready for display.
