A newly wed bride.
Doused in mother’s silver love which becomes her blood to carry as she shines the brightest while her face remains hidden,
the wool wrapped her, from head to toe reminds her of the texture of her mother’s skin.
Her mother’s wrinkled fingers and face, all these years the cold air brushed and sucked off all the moisture from her body.
But her eyes, tear up.
Her you ask?
Both.
What else?
It then stays packed in a cardboard box and she smiles when someone asks,
“aap yahin se ho?”
“Nahi, mein shaadi karke yahaan aai hun.”
