Bklyn Live Music PSA! Dada Strain returns to our favorite NYC arts loft, Light & Sound Design Studios in Greenpoint, for another 'Dada Strain @ L&SD,' on Saturday, March 14th at 7p. The evening of deep listening and electronic synthesis will feature Christopher Hoffman debuting compositions from his magnificent solo amplified-cello album, 'REX'; the duo debut of a pair of veteran improvisors, vocalist/electronic multi-instrumentalist Christina Wheeler and trumpeter/electronic producer Chris Williams; plus a hardware tropical house set by the Colombia-born/NYC residing producer/multi-instrumentalist Prince of Queens. DJ selections before-between-after will be provided by Piotr Dada Strain. The evening is produced with the generous support of FourOneOne. The night marks a continuing partnership between Dada Strain and Light & Sound Design, the third of our bi-monthly events there. The idea is to bring together the communities that Dada Strain serves, for some of whom L&SD has become a magnet, and a magic shared space at a time when such places are few and far between.
