Birthdays have always been a weird one for me. The 10th of Jan is not ideal - people are always skint, on a diet or doing dry Jan - so 8 years ago I decided Iād always go away somewhere to celebrate. This was the first time in 8 years I didnāt. This was the first time in 8 years I felt like I didnāt have to. And thatās all thanks to @bayhalligan . I canāt thank her enough for making the day feel important and special, even when Iāve spent years downplaying it. Iāve always found my birthday uncomfortable - hence running away. So itās wonderful to have a person who makes me want to feel important, loved and looked after. So thank you ā¤ļø I also couldnāt resist sharing the wonderful @jakeholmanbjj when he visited. But heās also had a huge, positive impact on my year.
In February @bayhalligan and I said we wanted to see a show or go to the theatre every single month.
Itās the most theatre Iāve seen in a long time. š thereās no one Iād rather share all these experiences with.

Havenāt posted one of these in a while, but the last few months have been wonderful. This year feels like Iāve been living the kind of life I always wanted. It was a year of change, growth and real happiness š«¶š»
I never could have imagined that a short film I directed has been seen by Lee Child and Ken Loach š let alone read what they had to say.
The support and trust that @mancmade had in me for bringing this story to life was great. Itās an important piece that has been well received all over the world! šš»
It was also a pleasure to work with two fantastic actors who really brought the script to life!
