At the time I was very scared to admit to my parents I wanted to go to fashion school for university. After choking up with the words in a current of tears, they lovingly accepted with open arms-but there was apparent confusion on exactly what the end goal was. I showed them the “In Vogue: The Editors Eye” documentary and explained that this is exactly what I wanted to do with my life-real life wizardry! Long story short they still didn’t quite understand (as nobody really does) but shared their support and love nonetheless (And my mom was able to clock Camilla Nickerson as “the one” during the viewing at-least). But 4 years later I’m able to show them I wasn’t entirely delusional! Everything I ever wanted and more. Beyond grateful for my real life legend Carlos to let me tinker in the magic first hand-quite literally a dream come true. Couldn’t have been happier to do it alongside my brother Caden who embarked on this journey with me since day 1 and also with one of the most remarkable women I know , Christine, who fostered me and Cadens franticness for over a year while we were still baby interns. Two of the hardest working people I know (besides maybe Carlos himself). Love always ! Xoxoxo
