I first met Chris at @re_wilding_us two years ago during one of his foraging courses. I went from being totally unaware to seeing a world overflowing with wild food.
Inspired to capture Chris’ story, @joesnap and I headed back into the wild to join him for a morning of coastal wandering and mushroom gathering. With no rigid plan, this film is the result of those four hours together.
Chris is more than a guide - he’s a lifelong environmentalist keeping the ancient traditions of our ancestors alive. He is one of the rare few who truly understands how to harvest and sustain himself solely from the natural riches of his home county.

What an event! The Hotpipe Shootout fired a wild range of wild and wacky tricks. Was great to see so many people down. Major props to @jeanhackmansurf for hosting the event, all the judges and sponsors. Well done to all those who competed

The theme was 'On the Run', so we decided to recreate this search light/helicopter style scene. These shoddy bike lights held up well thanks to the FX6's high base iso at 12,800.
First time taking the housing out with @jeanhackmansurf and pleasantly surprised with the results. Thanks @oli_.taylor for all the top tips. Fingers crossed for some more big days 🙏 More edits to come.
