What struck me most was actually our first interaction in the parking lot. Matthew hopped out of a simple truck, looked me in the eye, and shook my hand like he truly meant it. Grounded. Present. Strong. Authentic. Real.
Then on the podcast, he shared in that same way. Raw. Rugged. Honest. Deeply authentic.
One thing that stayed with me was hearing how, when he decided to write his book, he disappeared into the desert to do it. That level of commitment says something. Whatever Matthew does, he goes all in.
And honestly, that was one of my biggest takeaways from the experience. It inspired me to raise the bar in my own life. To show up with more intention and authenticity.
