today I released my debut album “you’re missing the best part” 🌀
to me - this is so much more than just an album. it’s a reminder to myself, and hopefully to anyone who listens, of the things that matter most.
the world is a crazy place right now - distraction, artifice, pain, political agendas - it’s easy to lose sight of the goodness and the love. but it’s around, it’s within all of us, we just have to look for it. this is an album about openness, presence, friendship, connection, community, love, fear, pain, joy, truth - fundamentally it is about what it means to be human. I could never have done it on my own. so many beautiful friends were a part of bringing this to life.

the strongest thing we have is each other. I wanted to remind myself of that. to bring myself back to some semblance of sanity and purpose in a world that feels increasingly further from it.
my hope is that there’s some sort of healing or connection for you to find in these songs. I hope they can be there for you like they have been for me.

this album has taught me so much. to be open. to not take everything so seriously. the power of laughing with the people you love, sharing home-cooked meals while jumping between light-hearted conversation and getting deeper. the relief and warmth of being seen and understood. it became a reminder to myself of what it means to be human, in a world that can often feel so detached from it.
