Top 4 ain't too shabby Hey I'm only a week late to posting this time, that's gotta count for something! Last week was the @ohio.open.beatbox battle, and it was genuinely one of the best battles I've ever been to. I heavily recommend going to next year's edition whenever it's happening. Big up to @clizzyclutch for an amazing quarterfinal! I guess I managed to keep the sweater in the end but you definitely had me sweating the whole battle. Your elimination round had me in awe and it terrified me when I found out we were matched against each other. It was a genuine honor to share the stage with you! Thank you @Waferboi for the amazing rematch. I know we both so much fun on stage, even more than at West Coast, and I'm happy you took the win. I think our rematch battle last week was the performance I'm the most proud of in my career, and I couldn't have performed like that without the energy we created together on stage. Shoutout to @malachiweb for a good time in the small finals. I know I couldn't put my 100% into the battle because of that stupid nosebleed but I sincerely hope I gave you the battle you deserved. Proud of you for successfully defending Ohio with @venoa06 (what up champ?!?!) from us invaders! I just also wanted to apologize and thank everyone about that weird nosebleed situation. If you didn't know, the moment small finals were supposed to start, my nose started bleeding, and we had to push grand finals first while waiting on me. I want to shout out the bartenders at @thematineebar , @aison_bruh , and a nice lady who I unfortunately never got her name for helping me out while that was happening, and of course @zeb.bbx , Venoa, and Waferboi for being understanding about it. Another shoutout to the bnb gang Waferboi @synthetik_bbx @ghostbeatbox @alejandro_eulacio @xepherglow for the good vibes, bread breaking, and kicking my ass in melee. Super late post but I think I have to have something for closure's sake. Last month was the 2025 USA Beatbox Championships. I decided to try my hand again and I managed to get 5th in the elimination ranking. Once again, I'm blown away about how well my music was received and I'm very grateful that I scored so well. Even with the high elim ranking, Jerry ended up knocking me out in the top 16 battles. I would be lying if I said the loss didn't sting, but it was a well deserved victory for him and I'm happy that I lost to a friend. @rapphirearts you're an incredible artist, and you have such a powerful connection to music that you share with everyone every time you get on stage. I remember us chatting in the days and weeks before the event about how excited we were for champs and I'm glad we both got to put on a show together. Immediately after the event I had to lock in for finals and I also got sick for almost a month, so I've been radio silent for a while. In that time I've been thinking a lot about where I want to take my style and what I want to say with my art. In the many upcoming events I want to attend this year, I think I'll try experimenting and broadening my horizons more. 2026 might not be a year of victories the same way 2025 was, but I'm excited for what it'll entail nonetheless. To everyone in the community, let's keep pushing the artform forward together, and I can't wait to see you all again! Chris K.

West Coast stylin' So yeah, I got 2nd at the 2025 West Coast Beatbox Championship. This year has been a crazy journey, going from barely making it past elims to getting 2nd at one of the highest level battles in the country (and there's still USA Champs left to go!) But honestly, I wouldn't be here without the support so many people have given me. First of all, a massive thank you to @longislandbeatbox and @loopy.lew.ent for organizing and running the battle. You put your hearts and souls into throwing an amazing event and we all appreciate it so much. To Jack especially, I wouldn't have gone a tenth as far in my career without your help. Shoutout to @waferboi @kuulestbeatbox and @derrickbbx for some of the most challenging and fun battles I've ever had, you all brought bithnith and I'm proud to have shared the stage with you. Big up to everyone at the bnb, y'all made good company and it was good to share vibes, tea, and germs with you. Shoutout to everyone who competed, in any category. I said it for NY Champs and I'll say it again: You are all pushing the scene forwards and I couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you. And special thanks to @piston_bbx for helping make sure I checked everything off the first time in Cali bucket list. You went out of your way to make sure I had a great experience and I'm so unbelievably grateful. I want to thank more people too but I'd just go on and on forever lol. Until next time.

Still recovering from the greatest weekend in human history. New York Champs 2025 was an unbelievably amazing experience! I made it back into the top 8 this year amongst fierce competition, but I'm more happy that I got to see everyone and make some new friends too. If you did an elimination that night, I want to see you keep beatboxing and pushing our art form forwards together. You all killed it, top 16 or not. I faced @alejandro_eulacio in the top 16 battles. I'm so happy we've been able to become better friends over the course of this year and finally rock the stage together this month. I know you're already killing it (as our new Arena Battle Champion) and I can't wait to see you again. @lembobeatbox Words cannot describe how happy I am for you. Top 3 in such a competitive event is huge! From the days of the house parties, to busking together, to watching your first gig, I knew that you would be beatboxing with the best of them. Your already awe inspiring techniques keep getting sharper and I know soon will be the day when people see your name on the elim sheet and think "Yeah, Lembo's definitely winning this one." @applejuice_148 our battle in the BBQ 8v8s was so fun! I love your flows and ideas and hanging out after the events was a good time! I hope we can meet each other again soon!
