I placed 3rd🥉overall in the Crossroads Beatbox Battle 2025 solo category as well as 2nd🥈in the tag team category alongside
@conundrumbbx .
Last year I attended the Crossroads Beatbox Battle 2024 on a whim. It wasn’t my first beatbox event, so I wasn’t expecting to have as profound of an experience as I did.
Maybe it’s because it was the first event I attended in the country I grew up in, maybe cuz of where I was in my life in that moment, and probably some combination of both, for the first time I truly saw, felt, and understood the level of work and dedication that the beatboxers that I looked up to put in to perform at the level they did. From this moment on I decided to become the best version of myself as a performer, artist, and beatboxer.
More importantly, I discovered the most meaningful part of all of this to me. That coming together as a community was, and always will be, the biggest success of any beatboxing event. We have all won when we get to come together and share our passion.
Thank you to
@ghostbeatbox for attending every single event (6) that I have competed in for the last year and consistently singing my praises. Thank you to
@conundrumbbx for giving feedback on my routines before almost every battle I competed in and helping me achieve my long time dream of competing as a tag team. Thank you to
@asher_the.smasher for organizing this event and inspiring me to organize my own in hopes of expanding our beautiful community. Thank you to all the wonderful artists I shared the stage with this weekend. And thank you to every single person at this event who helped me, talked to me, and went out of their way to show love for my performance, it truly means the world.
Thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me on this 10 year beatboxing journey, you know who you are.
I have never felt more myself on stage than this weekend, and I plan to keep doing just that 🤗
