The Lost Boys has been nominated for 12 Tony Awards, the joint-most of any show this season. 💡 Jules Fisher will receive the 2026 Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre for his Tony-Award winning career in lighting design. In a Broadway career spanning more than 60 years, he has designed more than 100 plays and musicals and has been honored with nine Tony Awards and 25 nominations.

The Lost Boys opening night was absolutely epic! Incredible performances, gorgeous vocal arrangements, literally unbelievable scenic design & aerial like you’ve never seen before. Flying & singing on Broadway is wild - IYKYK! Congratulations first to my friend Chris Hoch as co-book writer - it is fabulous (who ever says that about the book!?)! Ryan Park and David Brian Brown thrilling costumes & hair! My fave violinist Annaliesa Place! Thanks to my gorgeous date since 1994! Huge congrats to all! Early in “The Lost Boys,” there’s a wink-wink reference to the challenge of making a musical based on a movie. But no such worries here: This adaptation of the film about bad-boy vampires in a coastal California town has a narrative fullness the picture lacked, thanks to David Hornsby and Chris Hoch’s excellent book. It also benefits from an amazing set and even more amazing special effects (yes, there’s plenty of flying), a rock-solid cast and director Michael Arden’s wondrous ability to tie it all together.
