“Becomes a Home” is out now! Here is the lyric follow-along booklet and location map for each track. We wanted to create an album that was completely continuous and immersive where each song existed in a different room or space as you walk through a house. We recorded the majority of the album in @nickyy0ung ’s family’s lake house upstate. We recorded all the textures of the space; wind rattling the window, every creaking footstep and the crunch of leaves and snow, the clunk of a lock, an actual meal being cooked, etc. Both having grown up in rural Massachusetts and now living in NYC we wanted to create a nature filled cozy space that you can tuck into sonically and reset when the world and all its questions become too overwhelming.
