I wore a sari to a wedding this weekend and seemed to offend a couple people. Please note a sari is a form of dress and not a religious outfit. I did not wear it to make a religious statement in any way. The sari I wore is quite fancy and as I see it very appropriate for any formal event such as a wedding. I wore it because I like wearing saris and it made me feel elegant and beautiful. Pls share your thoughts?
