My first job out of college (12 years ago!) was working for Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and I’ll never forget the example she set.
After a full day working in Congress, she would run all over D.C. — speaking at six, seven, sometimes eight events a night — helping raise money for Democrats and showing up wherever her presence mattered. She did it all in heels, with a smile, and with the same energy and purpose she brought to the House floor.
And her work paid off. Year after year, Democrats crushed fundraising goals and in Congress, we never lost a vote.
Watching her work that hard, that joyfully, and that effectively taught me what true leadership and dedication look like. Forever proud to be a part of #teampelosi
Into the waves! 🌊 Had an absolute blast learning to surf (thanks @raimanaworld !) and so glad Jessica invited me on this trip. Good people, good vibes, and my new favorite way to fall off a board 😂🏄♂️
Thrilled to be a part of the transition team helping Mayor-elect @danielluriesf to build an administration poised to get San Francisco back on track! Grateful for the chance to give back to the city I’ve come to love since moving here ❤️🌉
at the risk of being Those Girls — 364 days (because we didn’t realize yesterday marked one year until this morning lmao) until we get to call each other husband??? 🤯
