Community casseroling💫.
Bringing folk together around the campfire, cauldron or chocolate bowl takes us into the heart of our humanity – food made together, in spaces large enough to hold & inspire us all, tastes of something we know we need but has no words, just a flavour that lasts and nudges us onwards.
I’ve been quiet here, busy creating community casserole events with
@flourish and the
@youngcarers , with
@chomp_Brighton families and building the Kitchen Sessions mission-vision, to share these ideas around. The social media insta-bites are at odds with the kitchen therapy mission to create food to feed a lifetime, to step into the lasting time of yin, feminine energy surrounding the process of meal-making, fire keeping, connection building for us all.
On a family note, Carl – he of the chaos bonfire cake some of you may recall, hit 22 – a day after his name sake Carl Jung’s 150th birthday and celebrated a 1st in creative engineering. Who knew, that 6year old’s crazy cake would be so very brilliant. (p.98 in THE book!)
Here’s a little chronical of the kitchen therapy antics. Head over to the bio to recap the
