On my last visit to Australia I happened to get a good hang @rowdys_records
The jams were blasting and thx to Clara I got a killer discography lp by Toad The Wet Sprocket, which led me on the hunt for the 45’s.
High energy and Rock’n NWOBHM. Very stoked to get both these 45’s inna batch of stuff.

The 2 lp release on @highrollerrecordsofficial is highly recommended as it has tons of killer unreleased material and thick booklet.

One of the funner things in life is just getting in a studio with some friends and just coming up with stuff in a day and gettin it recorded.
These Power Paw sessions with @montanapoolservice and @otisserie were pretty fun. We had @benmooremusic recording it all and getting the sounds.

⚠️☢️⚠️ more bombardment… was a great year for Metal, I’m a metal “hed”. Wayyyy before punk, any psych, jazz or Krautrock. I was just a Hard Rock Metal kid who just wanted it louder and heavier.
Stoked to get this Exciter again, somehow convinced my grandpa (R.I.P.!) to buy this for me from Vista Records & Tapes, got it off the cover alone, it’s so badd azz! Real Trü no BS Metal.
Then there’s the Pepper Porter lp, or aka “Peppy Porker” , dood has pipes and riffs, me & @sheacooper__ were diggin on this ultra heavy power ballad you hear now when we were just on tour. Still a cheap find too. Get’em Peppy!
Now Savage & Spartan Warrior phew !
Pretty sure Metallica covers “Let it Loose” off this Savage lp, such a burner!

I’ve been so blessed to discover and find so many new sounds this year.
I’ve sold a lot of records but also had a deeper focus on ones that I listen to alot and are ultimate art for my eyes & ears.
As much as I do buy online, nothing stokes more than goin to record shops and finding things I’d never think I’d see in a bin, such as this Elias Hulk and Human Instinct , both finds from my recent Australia trip. Mucho thx @dutchvinylbrisbane & The Sloth @vicious_sloth for these personal faves.
December… that time of year. Gonna try and post a record of my fave finds/buys/trades from this year, each day for the rest of this month.
No real order of what’s the fave as they are all tops for me. While I don’t go crazy chasing or “only doing 1st press” type stuff, there are some artists/bands where it’s just essential art.
WIPERS being one of them. This lp here being the last of the bunch I was in the hunt for.

COMA – “This World’s a Dahmer”
A couple of San Diego extreme music mainstays—Justin Pearson @justinpearson31g and Mario Rubalcaba @chimbot —have teamed up in a new effort called COMA, and are debuting with the track, “The World’s a Dahmer,” on Cult and Culture: A Planet B @planetbband Podcast Compilation. Cult and Culture is Pearson’s podcast, and the compilation offers 14 tracks (some exclusive to the comp), plus a bonus 7″ single, from a wide ranging assortment of musicians who have appeared on the podcast—from the Exploited @the_exploited_official to The Locust @the_locust_official to drummer Martin Atkins @flowersfightforsunshine (PiL, Killing Joke, Ministry), and many more.
