A small group of amazing people came together for a quick one day shoot, but turned out to be one of my most favourite shoots ever. On September 4th I had my first phone call with @vidyavox . Next thing I know she’s packed her bags and caught the flight from LA to Chennai. And In a week she started her dance rehearsals and prep for the shoot began. That’s how fast things moved, only because she is a bad ass.. extremely committed, passionate, stubborn, professional and an amazing human being. Another first for me and my dop @abhimanyu_sadanandan , was shooting on cannon camera and lenses. But what a beauty it turned out to be. As always @abhimanyu_sadanandan ’s brilliance behind the lens holds firm always. Another first was collaborating with @aswiniputhuruthel . Man, I have no idea how she cracked such complex choreography in such a short time.. pro level max. Another amazing human being. And her team, @mruthul , @theertha.vinod , skilled and committed. The dancers @_basicbrownb , @lavanya.pillai04 , anjana.s.kumar, @_sethuu , @sheenkiran , @gowriinandana , @vishnuja.nair , @noufiamansoor , @noohafaise , @monickapoulose , before shoot all I asked them was to give me their best, and maintain the energy. From morning first shot right up till night 2:00 am, they stayed with the same energy. Not once did they even look exhausted on set. Thank you so much for that. Second time collaborating with @subhaashkarun sir and again, he went out of his way to give me everything I asked for. Thankyou for that. Fourth time collaborating with @geethanjali_rajiv .
