Been procrastinating for a long while but pumped to finally share - POONGATRU - a short film I directed for @ifp.world 50 Hour Filmmaking challenge that happened in September 2024.
This film is special for me for so many reasons but the major reason being that this was ideated, shot and edited under 50 hours time. The adrenaline rush, the attempt for perfection and the learnings were truly refreshing as a filmmaker. But most importantly this wouldn’t have been possible without the passion and energy of my very talented handpicked team! And of course the insane actor that @harshini.bo is. Although we did not qualify for the win, this film and experience will be always something that I hold close to my heart.
