@chilldays : “Last week I was able to welcome flight 001 of
@virgilabloh___foundation at
@spaziofonte . One of those rare full circle moments in life. For years with some of Virgil’s close friends we’ve been saying how we graduated from the “Abloh University”.
For me to be able to host the workshop in Fonte, pass my knowledge with those amazing young artists and share stories about V and my journey was a very special moment. An emotional one.
Before we got the space that now we call Fonte, it was a tough period, Virgil had passed away and I was full of uncertainties. I remember how I literally felt him kicking my ass and could hear him telling me to just do it and stop looking for excuses with his calm laughter. The “you got this” he would always say.

@_millerb were crazy enough to dive head first into this journey together. 3 years deep, Fonte remains a still place in a perpetual movement that we keep on building together.
Something I believe is that one of the ways we honor Virgil’s legacy is that our door is always open for the next generation, if this is so it’s not for us to judge.
Thank you Shannon, Athi, the whole foundation, all production teams and especially to you “Flight 001” for the trust, inspiration and the time we spent together! Looking forward seeing all the amazing things you guys are going to do! You’re always welcome back!”
