On a serious note — my younger self and everyone who knew me then would be genuinely shocked that I have three whole kids. IYKYK 🤭
When I was pregnant with baby number three, some of top comments I got were these:
1. Why?? You already have one of each — a boy and a girl. So,Why??? 😭
2. No one was really curious about the gender, except for my family, most people were like ‘you already got best of both worlds, so whatever’ 😏
3. So soon???— Mind you, Star is 2 years+ older, but it felt like yesterday to everyone apparently 🥲
4. You’ll have one more right? To balance it out. Balance what exactly? As quadratic equation abi?😩😂 Can you relate?

Honestly, I thought cravings ended with pregnancy, and I wasn’t even heavy on pregnancy cravings!
What nobody told me was that postpartum cravings are a whole thing. And here we are 😊
Lately I’ve found myself reaching for these snacks for comfort. They’re things I’d normally eat — but it’s heightened now. And boy, do they bring me joy. Even when I have to say “it’s just for mummy” to actually enjoy myself. 😄

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to speak on Scaling in Media and Building Visibility & Influence Through Personal Branding as a Woman at the @theinfluenceroom_ by @_divine_chidimma
It was incredibly fulfilling sharing thoughts on:
- building intentional personal brands,
- owning our voices,
- showing up consistently,
- and creating impact beyond titles and social media aesthetics.
One of my favorite moments was reminding the ladies that:
“Your brand enters the room before you do.”
Shout out to every woman in that room who listened, connected, laughed, nodded, took notes and stayed back afterward to share their stories with me. One thing about me? I’ll pour so much into people that they’ll have no choice but to reflect, apply and grow from it. At this point, I might seriously consider lecturing someday… but that’s a conversation for another day. 🙂
Conversations like this matter deeply to me because I genuinely believe that when women become visible, entire narratives change.
Hopefully, more women leave rooms like this ready to stop shrinking and start showing up fully.
And it wasn’t all just talk. @afiatvofficial ,my principal brand, also offered internship opportunities to some of the ladies present, and I genuinely cannot wait to see them thrive in the media space.

I saw House of David, and you should see it too.
Aside from the beautiful cinematography and grading, I really enjoyed their commitment and devotion to the source material—the Bible.
Most of the verses were taken word-for-word from Scripture to screen. I loved that!
Then the storytelling… they took some liberties for the sake of narrative, and I enjoyed that as well. It gave perspective to some otherwise overlooked moments.
But what stood out for me the most?
How they humanized the biblical experience.
Take Saul, for instance.
We all know the story—he became proud and the kingdom was taken from him.
But have you ever really put yourself in Saul’s shoes?
You, small HOD or manager that you are… have you compared who you were before to now?
Hmm. 🧐
When Samuel told him that God had departed from his house, I could literally see the human frailty, the pride, the desperation… even in the way he still asked Samuel to sacrifice on his behalf and re-anoint him.
Low-key, I was pleading for him—“God, have mercy!”
😩
Let’s talk about Jonathan.
The rightful heir, watching his inheritance slip through his fingers like that… yet he remained faithful to the outcome all through. Never once questioning God’s will.
For him, it wasn’t about personal ambition, but submission to the will of Adonai.
And let’s be honest—Queen Eliza’s children won’t even agree to that kind of arrangement.
They’d try what Ahinoam & Saul attempted.
Even Emilokan no go gree shift.
City boys would have everywhere doing just anything.
Now, Samuel!
He stood on business till the very end. He didn’t cower to intimidation or give in to his love for Saul. He spoke truth to power, even when it hurt.
Is there still any Samuel among us today?
Or is every supposed prophet now practicing table manners?
Anyway…
So yes, I really enjoyed the storytelling and re-learned the lessons in between.
God help us not to become bigger than God, no matter the position we find ourselves in.

Also, I’ll be spending the next few days stalking—sorry, tracking—the actors on Instagram. It’s one of my post-good-movie habits. I like to see them as humans and appreciate their craft even more.
