Exactly on this day and 6 months ago I was traveling up north to the Kalinga Mountain Provence ,Philippines to visit the 106 year old Apo Whang Od.
To visit her in the tribe Village Buscalan and to portray her 📸 was defentely on my bucketlist since 2k19.

And now 6 months later she s counted as the oldest and most iconic Face on the VOGUE Magazine. 🌹🤌🏾

In this exhibition, two artistic styles meet in a subtle dialogue between physicality, texture, and lived history. The works of Aura Rendón Benger and Chi Aurea Bolívar revolve around themes such as origin, vulnerability, strength, and the visualization of inner worlds.
We were thrilled to feature these two incredible visual artists at our last Sofar Sounds event in @lokal_coffee_drinks_artists . From captivating textile sculptures by @aura.m.r.b to powerful photographic portraits by @chichachu3 , their art beautifully complemented the space and added a unique, immersive layer to our singles night. ✨

we do. we can still feel the energy we created and shared.
