And just like that, Trashy Planets had its first ever trashion show, something as a self taught designer I never thought would happen!
No fashion school, no big team- just delusional belief (the best kind), 2 weeks of late nights and a lot of redbull!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my amazing models who brought it all to life, to my fellow mad hatter maker @cursed_london_ and to my darlings @chiccryptique for trusting me and making space for this moment! And thankyou most of all to my Dad, the biggest Rolling Stones fan, who's unwavering fight this year has inspired me so much to keep on moving, even in the darkness. Can't wait to do it all over again with a brand new collection in a few months!🖤

@djsmokinjo ARTIST FEATURE
A true icon of British club culture, Smokin Jo has been shaping the sound of dance floors for 35 years. The only female DJ to ever win DJ Mag’s DJ of the Year, Jo’s legacy spans the globe - from Panorama Bar to Pacha, Glastonbury to Glitterbox, and legendary residencies at Trade and Space (now Hï Ibiza).
Her memoir You Don’t Need A Dick To DJ charts her journey from growing up without music in the 70s, to the highs and lows of life on the road as a Black female DJ in a male-dominated scene.
She’s played wrap parties for Bond, villa parties for Naomi, and shared stages with Grace Jones, The Pet Shop Boys, and Skunk Anansie.
A trailblazing tastemaker, Smokin Jo brings her legacy to our Crypt on 10th May. Dont miss it.

Meet the glam architect: Bambi Blue

Fire-eating mermaid. Dancefloor icon. London legend.
Bambi Blue began creating looks for her burlesque inner circle before dressing the decadent cast of The Box Soho, and later launching @trashyplanets — a dazzling, disco-sick dreamworld of bespoke looks for the limelight.
Her designs have adorned icons including Raye and Rina Sawayama, and stomped the Drag Race UK runway across five seasons.
She joined Chic Cryptique last year and has been crafting our Glamily’s custom looks ever since.
Her favourite part? The pre-show glam room chaos, look reveals, and a gossip in VIP. With @by.jackie__ on the mugs and @feeltheflesh on the do’s, this is couture by creatures, for creatures.
Come see what we’ve conjured on May 10th.
