// @deoron // Milan Design Week _ DEORON’s presence at Milan Design Week feels intentionally quiet in contrast to the visual intensity that defines the week. Rather than competing for attention through scale or spectacle, the project leans into reduction—presenting an environment that focuses on spatial clarity, muted palettes, and the interplay between natural and artificial light. The result is an installation that doesn’t just showcase design, but slows you down enough to actually experience it. Positioned within the broader energy of Salone del Mobile and the surrounding districts like Brera Design District, DEORON aligns more closely with the conceptual side of contemporary design. It explores how objects and spaces can exist with intention—where each element is reduced to its most essential function, yet still carries a strong emotional weight. Materials are typically raw or softly finished, allowing texture and form to speak without distraction. There’s also a deeper narrative running through the work—one that touches on permanence and timelessness. In a design world often driven by trends and rapid iteration, DEORON feels almost resistant to time. It emphasizes longevity, both in material and philosophy, suggesting that design should not just be visually striking, but enduring in how it lives within a space. What makes it resonate during Milan Design Week is exactly this contrast. While much of the city celebrates innovation through bold experimentation, DEORON captures attention through discipline. It’s less about what is added, and more about what is intentionally left out—creating a moment of calm, reflection, and precision within one of the most influential design weeks in the world. 📷: @anoukdlpns

// @ghtlakecomo // Customer Editorial Beyond its terraces and floating pool, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo reveals quieter moments of luxury—and the tennis court is one of them. Hidden within the gardens, surrounded by towering greenery and glimpses of Lake Como, it feels entirely removed from the outside world. There’s something distinctly nostalgic about it—echoing a time when summer days were structured around simple rituals: a morning match, a long lunch, and an afternoon by the water. Like everything on the property, it’s not just about the amenity itself, but the atmosphere it creates—refined, relaxed, and unmistakably Italian. PC: @ghtlakecomo Video: @vwt_travel

Benvenuti @thejoycerestaurant // @spicyhospitalitygroup Tucked inside the historic charm of the Esmé Hotel, The Joyce offers a dining experience that feels both intimate and intentional—where every detail, from the food to the space itself, is carefully considered. At the center of it all is James Taylor, whose background in some of Chicago’s most demanding kitchens brings a level of precision and discipline that’s immediately felt on the plate. His cooking leans into simplicity done right—clean flavors, thoughtful compositions, and a quiet confidence that doesn’t rely on excess. It’s the kind of approach that lets ingredients speak for themselves, while still delivering a refined, elevated experience. The space mirrors that same philosophy. Set within one of Miami Beach’s most character-filled properties, The Joyce blends old-world architecture with a modern, curated edge. The artwork plays a defining role—layered throughout the restaurant in a way that feels organic rather than staged. A mix of contemporary and classic influences creates visual depth, with even rumors of works by Pablo Picasso having passed through the space, adding to its allure. Altogether, The Joyce is more than just a restaurant—it’s a complete environment. One where culinary precision, design, and art come together seamlessly, creating a space that lingers long after the last course. 📸: @worldredeye

Served at the finest @mo_lagodicomo _ Set along the eastern shores of Lake Como, the Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como is a modern expression of Italian aristocratic living—where historic villas meet contemporary luxury. The property is centered around a collection of 19th-century residences, most notably Villa Roccabruna, which has been carefully restored and reimagined into one of the most refined hospitality experiences on the lake. Surrounded by botanical gardens that cascade down to the water, the hotel feels less like a resort and more like a private estate hidden within one of Italy’s most iconic landscapes. The hotel itself carries a layered history. Long before becoming part of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group portfolio, the estate was known as CastaDiva Resort & Spa—an already celebrated destination rooted in the romantic heritage of Lake Como. Its transformation into Mandarin Oriental elevated the experience even further, blending the brand’s signature service and understated luxury with the timeless elegance of Italian architecture and culture. Rooms and suites are designed with a quiet sophistication—natural tones, soft textures, and expansive terraces that open directly onto the lake. The design never competes with its surroundings; instead, it frames them. Whether it’s waking up to the stillness of the water or watching the light shift across the mountains at sunset, every detail is meant to enhance the sense of place. What truly sets the property apart is its atmosphere. There’s a sense of calm and privacy that feels rare, even on Lake Como. From its floating pool on the lake to its world-class spa and curated dining experiences, everything is built around slowing down and experiencing the environment in its purest form. It’s not about excess—it’s about balance, beauty, and intention. 🎥: @jeremyaustiin (Video Credits)

x @lucalimia // @lucali_bk Born in Brooklyn and brought to Miami Beach, Lucali is the definition of simplicity done at the highest level. Founded by Mark Iacono—a self-taught pizzaiolo with no formal training—the concept started as a passion project inside a restored neighborhood candy shop and evolved into one of the most iconic pizzerias in the world. At Lucali, nothing is overcomplicated. The menu is intentionally minimal, built around a few core items executed with obsessive precision. The pizza—rolled thin with a wine bottle and fired in a brick oven—features perfectly balanced sauce, fresh basil, and a delicate blend of cheeses. Even the details matter—the house-made sauce served in a mason jar, the candlelit atmosphere, the raw, unpolished charm—everything feels curated without ever trying too hard. Beyond the pizza, the calzone has developed its own cult following—crispy on the outside, soft and molten inside, built with the same attention to detail. A small selection of antipasti, salads, and Italian wines round out the experience, staying true to the philosophy of doing less, but better. Despite drawing a loyal following that includes names like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and LeBron James, Lucali has managed to keep its soul intact. No matter who walks through the door, the experience stays the same. Brooklyn roots. Miami energy. No shortcuts. -Chiarella Team

x @fuoriconcorso Coming: May 16-17th, 2026 Set against the cinematic backdrop of Lake Como, Fuori Concorso is not just a car show—it’s a curated celebration of automotive culture, design, and Italian lifestyle at its most refined. Held annually across historic villas like Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, the event brings together some of the rarest and most iconic cars ever built, displayed as if they were pieces of art. Founded in 2019 by Guglielmo Miani, Fuori Concorso was created as a more expressive, design-forward counterpart to the traditional elegance of the nearby Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Where Villa d’Este celebrates heritage and concours perfection, Fuori Concorso embraces storytelling—each year built around a central theme that explores a specific era, marque, or cultural movement in automotive history. From rare coachbuilt Ferraris to experimental concept cars, every vehicle is hand-selected not just for its value, but for its significance. It’s where collectors, designers, and tastemakers converge—less about competition, more about conversation. It’s invitation-only, intentionally intimate, and deeply rooted in the idea that cars are more than machines—they’re expressions of identity, craftsmanship, and time. 🎥: @mikecrawat
