Some notes on my first ultra and second trail race :)
- My heart is full 💗
- Probably the most fun I’ve ever had in a race 🌞🧡
- Didn’t have time pressure (wanted to finish sub 10h which felt doable)
- Beautiful trails 🏔️
- I had the most incredible support 🫂✨ thanks to @_.cindyf._
- Tough times until the first aid station, found my flow from km 20 to 56, last uphill was hard but still felt manageable
- The thought of seeing @floruns at the finish kept me going ❤️
- Nutrition worked fine 🍓 big thanks to @sporthunger.de & @bix_nutrition
- I have the absolute strongest friends 🫂 @leamariiiiiie

Thank you @diadora & @flatmountainliving for making this happen!
Somewhere in between running, enjoying the summer, spending time with my favorite people and thesis writing 🧡
Life feels like it’s going by really fast lately -
So here‘s to speeding up, pushing through but also slowing down 😌💙
LDN 25 ❤️🔥
Beyond grateful to be standing at the starting line again. Coming back after an injury is tough, lots of alternative training and setbacks after you think you can run again. Always the question whether this small niggle is just part of training hard or the beginning of an injury. So this one felt extra special! At the beginning of training for London the goal was: being able to run pain-free & have fun. Not aiming for a PB.
Tbh - I was still aiming for a different time and the heat got the better of me after about km 27. Had to fight the marathon demons, didn’t really get into a flow state and the self doubts started to creep in.
But the thought of seeing my mum at km 38 and the cheering of the crowd kept me going ❤️
