It’s a bit of an unknown. For #HOTH I’m never far away from a version of civilisation but with this I’m venturing out on my own. My goal is to enjoy a long day out in the sunshine (note to self: pack suncream) but I do have to plan fuel much more carefully.
So with the help of @digbyabouttown (who is obsessed with @chiacharge ) I’m carb-counting my race fuel so I can adjust the amount of insulin I take to get me through the event.
This is more for my reference tomorrow than anyone else but here’s the breakdown for my ratio of 1 unit of insulin per 10g of carbs:
