The Magic Makers – The Soundtrack to “I Do” There are moments from the day that will stay with me forever, & so many of them were carried on music. The strings began & everything shifted just as the rain stopped & we were given a window of clear skies, as if by magic or something greater, a perfect 40 minutes, just enough for the ceremony & photos to unfold exactly as they were meant to. Perrin sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as Meghan walked down the aisle, accompanied by the Cherry Blossom String Quartet, one of those rare moments where time slows & you realize you’re witnessing something you’ll never forget. Later, after my reading, she sang “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” steady, beautiful, & full of meaning, holding all of us still. The music didn’t just fill the space, it shaped it, softened everything, elevated everything, & gave the ceremony its heartbeat. Behind so much of it was our beloved Miss Beth, piano teacher to all four of my girls & a high school friend & classmate, who connected us to the quartet, including first chair violinist Chalermrit Siraseranant, another classmate, & in the weeks leading up to the wedding quietly made sure Perrin was ready. Two weeks of rehearsals in our home, walking through cues at the rehearsal, arriving early on the wedding day so Perrin had a familiar, trusted anchor, & handling the details so I could stay fully present. She had already gifted her music at Meghan’s elopement, & this time we asked her to simply be with us as a guest, but in the way that people like Miss Beth do, she still gave so much more. As the ceremony gave way to celebration, the quartet carried us into cocktail hour with lively, romantic, Bridgerton-esque string renditions of pop & country favorites across decades, the perfect soundtrack to begin the next chapter of the night. To the Cherry Blossom String Quartet & Miss Beth, thank you for creating the soundtrack to one of the most meaningful moments of our lives, & to my daughter Perrin, thank you for lending your angelic voice to make your sister’s day even more special. 🤍

Celebrating Kimberly and Frank at the Willard InterContinental was not only beautiful because of their love story- steady, honest, and rooted in everyday choosing, but also deeply personal for me.
In my mid-20s, I moved to Washington, DC to begin my career as a Conference Services Manager at the Willard. I supported various conferences, diplomatic events, and visits from Prime Ministers and Presidents before eventually moving into “Willard Weddings”. That season of my life shaped me in profound ways, both professionally and personally.
Returning to the Willard over the years has always felt a little like coming home. In an industry known for constant turnover, the banquet team there remains remarkably consistent and truly impeccable. Their care, and quiet excellence continue to set the standard for hospitality at the highest level.
So standing in that space again, this time officiating a marriage… felt full-circle in the most beautiful way.
Kimberly and Frank, thank you for trusting me with your story and your ceremony. Your love is steady, genuine, and deeply real and it was an honor to begin this next chapter with you.

Today, as seen in @loverly online. M&A’s celebration last September at the @omnishorehamhotel was truly impeccable. With a day focused on their desire to spend time together, the couple shared private vows on the patio, time with friends before the ceremony, and their first meal as newlyweds in true privacy. The abundance of support they and love the receive from their family and friends was evident as they all danced the night away. And in true September 2024 fashion, yes, there was a Hot to Go number where A hopped up in the stage for an epic memory. 🫶🏼
