GIG ANNOUNCEMENT 18th July really excited to announce this awesome night of electronic music and synth delights! Coming from Manchester we have the amazing @trianglecuts - bringing their dark wave, Post-punk, alternative electronica with haunting vocal loops for their first @cafe.etch debut Supporting them, and making another Etch debut is @novyilef from Newcastle, Combining analogue synths, brutalist architecture, pounding drum machines and a working-class consciousness. We also have Teessides dazzling pink suited 80s legend @stock.image.uk joining the bill. A little bird tells me he's been working on some more bangers (one out next week) so we can't wait to see what he's been up to. And returning to Etch is @cherry_knowle bringing that dark wave industrial goodness once again. HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM US AT CHERRY KNOWLE!!! Last year was absolutely amazing for us as we’ve made some big massive steps in kicking down the door and now it’s time to keep on going! Also we would love to say thank you for everyone that has supported us thus far, the support has been incredible and we hope you’ll love to continue supporting us wherever you can🖤 As you may know there’s been a massive change in lineup from last year into this year, but don’t let that fooled if that’s gonna stop the momentum of the project! We’ve got some new stuff lined up for this year and no matter who’s in and who’s out, we are planning to go harder, personally, and more cutting into darkness in the eyes of self destruction!!! So it’s been over a week since our EP / mini album has been out into world, the reception that we got from what we have made has been great! We feel that we’ve made something special with this project that we’ve given the listeners something different from the dark wave sound and the regular everyday indie tune. It’s something that I (Alex) have been wanting to do for awhile and there’s still more coming, currently putting together a new EP together that will act as a sister project to recent mini album. If the previous album explores outwards and about the world, the next one will explore inwards and we will make sure it cuts deep! Each way thank you all so much for the positive reception of the recent release, and there will be more to come!
