The most important song I’ve ever written and recorded. Some do not know this but one of my brothers passed away on this day in 2021 from a drug overdose. It took me years to find the strength to write something that truly expressed how I felt about the situation. I struggled with it for a while and still do. Coincidentally the birth of my daughter just so happened to be on January 19th 2024, almost 3 years to the day of my brother’s passing. It was after midnight in the hospital as I held my daughter that I truly realized the significance of these two moments. It was only recently that I found the words to tell this story. My new song “Sing About Me” is out now. I hope I made you proud.
Another year that I am incredibly grateful for those who support me and listen to the music I create. I genuinely cannot thank you enough. Despite having my second highest streaming song taken off of Spotify earlier this year I am amazed that my songs were streamed over 1 million times! These wrapped posts are never about the numbers but instead the appreciation I have for those who give my music a listen. So again thank you, 2025 up next! 📈💪🏻
