Muffet from Undertale This wig was made for the remake of my Muffet cosplay, using the same base wig I had for her in 2016. It was made alongside my Muffet mask which I designed and finished, but was completely 3D modeled by @keyozee ! (We will make a separate post about this mask in the future!) Once I had a base mask to work from (the first 3D print) I made a wig head that included the shape of the mask so I could make a new hairline that would fit perfectly overtop of it. Despite the base being an Arda Chibi, it was completely taken apart to be a full helmet wig so that the mask would fit underneath, and I ended up gluing the parting back so I wouldn't have to make my own. This time, I made permanent pigtails, using a technique I learned from @coscreationstudio (check out her Zenitsu wig!) and to get that perfect pigtail silhouette. I am super happy with how this wig turned out - especially seeing how far I've come in nearly 10 years of wearing cosplay wigs 🥹 there is still so much more to learn!! ××× Base wig: @ardawigs Chibi in Black Character: Muffet from Undertale #undertale #muffetcosplay #undertalecosplay #wigstyling wig styling muffet cosplay wig

I love using Worbla to make my gauntlets for my foam armour cosplays as they feel much more durable than just foam! The video only shows me creating one finger, but the same process applies for the rest of the gauntlets. Here's how I do it: 1. I first create a pattern by using tape and paper. I like to digitize it and then print it out on cardstock. 2. I find it's easiest to make all the pieces uniform when I have a base I can directly mold the worbla onto. Cardstock will keep the shape I need, especially if I am making something more geometric! 3. I use that same cardstock base to cut out the pieces from worbla and prepare them before I start molding them. 4. Now comes the part I showcase in the video! I do this one finger section at a time, starting from the bottom of each finger (if the layering goes bottom to top). Wearing the gloves for my cosplay, I tape the cardstock down onto my finger. Then, I heat up the worbla until it is workable. Before it cools, I place it right on top of the paper template and use a flat object like a palette knife to shape it into place. I then let this cool down until hardened before repeating the process again on the next segment. 5. It's important to keep the previous segment on your finger so that you can properly layer the next piece (as they won't lay completely flat) do this for all finger joints. 6. I do the same thing for the back of the hand - for details I used 2mm EVA foam (cut into a long strip for the edge details). For the knuckles, I made sure to raise them off of the ends of the lowest segment of my fingers with some worbla. It was just a lot of sculpting! 7. I then tape all the pieces onto a piece of paper which allowed me to spray them all with plastidip and spray paint. 8. To glue them down, I wear my glove (if possible, with a thin glove underneath to protect my skin in case it seeps through) and I use super glue to attach the pieces directly to the glove. Hot glue also works! Materials Base material: @worblana black art Primer: plastidip Paint: @rustoleumca in Titanium Silver EVA foam: @lumins_workshop #deltarunecosplay #deltarune armour tutorial

ENA wig... made of felt!? I really wanted to push the geometry of this cosplay A LOT and for me that meant keeping most aspects of my cosplay as stiff as possible. This included the wig! I was inspired by felt wig stylists like @l1nzo_520 and thought that if I were to ever do a felt wig, it would be best to try it with ENA. I (as usual 😅) wasn't able to get footage of every step I did, but hopefully I can at least describe my process a little more below! 1. THE BASE - The base of the wig is also felt, all glued together! I started by pinning strips of felt around my wig head (which is made to match the size and shape of my head) and just hot glued overlapping sections together. During this process, it's crucial to try it on to make sure it fits properly, since you can't edit much after! I also used a steamer (not shown in video during this process) to help get some of the curves down properly. To be honest though, it doesnt have to look neat - it'll be covered afterwards! 2. THE 'HAIR' - I got some thicker felt (it was a full roll of felt nearly twice the thickness of regular felt from fabricland!) and began cutting tiny strips. To be honest, I probably could've gone right in with thicker strands, but I felt like this helped the hair look more realistic and more flexible around my nape area. I glued everything down with hot glue. As I went up the head, the pieces got larger and longer! When gluing and figuring out placement, I recommend thinking of it like actual wig wefts and work in rows. (steps continued in comments!! 👇)) I am still working on finishing the pattern for the hat and hand, so to those who are waiting for that, thank you for your patience 😖🙏 What character would you make a felt wig for?? THE PROPHECY, WHICH WHISPERS AMONG THE SHADOWS... THE LEGEND OF THIS WORLD, < DELTARUNE > ××× Here it is... my Kris cosplay 2.0!! I have been wanting to remake my Kris armour for so long since they were my first full body armour cosplay I ever made a few years ago. I am so happy with how it turned out! The silhouette and overall craftsmanship is much cleaner, and while I do have to do some fixing with the fit (I think the eva foam shrunk ever so slightly after painting 😞 didn't know that could happen...) they are wearable and they even survived a convention already! Kris is a very important character to me and I absolutely love cosplaying them 🥹 I'm so happy that my armour is at a place where I'm proud to wear it. Hoping to edit the making-of soon, but in the meantime, I hope you like seeing a little bit of the behind-the-scenes of the photos! I do all my photography and crafting in one room, and this space isnt big enough to do full-body photos usually, unless I remove my crafting table and set up the room on a diagonal so we can take photos from the hallway! The lighting consists of colour-changing lightbulbs in softboxes that i was lucky enough to find for free a few years ago (someone was giving them away (the softboxes not the lights) and they are pretty frustrating because they do not stay upright 😅), two rgb lights and a flashlight that I use as a spotlight. We got some really cool photos and videos, this is just the beginning 😎 so please wait patiently for more!! (and perhaps some really cool surprise collaborations too... 👀) ××× Armour patterns: self-drafted Armour made of EVA foam: @luminsworkshop 5mm, 3mm, 2mm and 1mm via @vegatheatricalsupplies Gauntlets made of @worblana Black Art Primer: @plastidipintl Paint: Titanium Silver spray paint @rustoleum Cape: red and blue shot satin from @jagjittextile Shoes painted with @angelusdirect silver leather paint Wig: Inigo in Dark Blue from @ardawigs Lighting and room setup: @chell.creates Photography: @lookkeyo Editing: @chell.creates.media General assistance: @keyozee #krisdeltarune #kriscosplay Kris Dreemurr Deltarune Cosplay Armour EVA foam #deltarune #deltarunecosplay

This is how I make wefts for wig styling! 1. Feather out the end - take a bit of loose wig hairs and cut upwards to feather out the end. This allows you to bring the fibres to a point much easier. I sometimes skip this step if I need to make a blunt-edge weft. 2. Add glue - I personally use Aileene's tacky glue, however you can use any clear glue of your choice. Many people use UHU glue or Tombow Aqua! 3. Saturate the fibres - I use a putty knife to scrape the glue into the end of the fibres. Notice how many times i do this - i go over it multiple times to make sure the application is even and not too thick. Add some pressure when doing this so you can squeeze out the excess glue. 4. Before the glue dries, bring the ends to a point. You can either do this with the putty knife against the table, or your fingers! 5. Let dry, then brush out the weft to remove any loose fibres. The brushing is optional, but personally I like to make sure that there are no loose fibres coming out before moving on to gluing it onto the wig - just keeps things neat! The rest of the steps are continued in the comments! 🫶 There are so many different ways to go about it - let me know in the comments if you have any favourite methods or have any questions about mine! #wigstyling how to wig styling #cosplaywig #wigs
