Who the hell is Chef Ryan Carroll? And who does he think he is? 😂 18 years of kitchens and chaos condensed into one carousel. Too young to bus tables at 14. Too young to become a sous chef at 21. Too young to own a restaurant at 26. Too young to help feed a million people by 30. Too young to build a successful event company Maybe you’re never really too young if you’re willing to work for it long enough

Man on a Mission❤️🚀 Fed nearly a million veterans elderly, and, families in need by 30 years old on Long Island. Check✅ . This Project entailed working with local farms and over 3000 volunteers to make 15,000 Thanksgiving Dinners from scratch for our Veterans, Elderly, and Families in need on Long Island. A fantastic partnership and yearly tradition with my good friend Andrew Meyerowitz President of the @bellmorekiwanis . I started bringing meals to my Nan during covid while she was home bound living with a caretaker. She was eating a lot of processed foods at a time in her life when she needed REAL NUTRITION, it broke my heart and ignited a fire inside of me. . Since then we have brought meals made of REAL FOOD made by REAL CHEFS to over 800,000 Long Islanders in need. This campaign has gained immense support from the Massapequa Fire Department and the Long Island community, with around 1,000 volunteers coming together to assist the less fortunate on Long Island. Love Ryan Carroll❤️ . #BeTheGood #CarrollCares #KiwanisClub #NonProfit

The East End fish conversation has gotten weird. We live on an island surrounded by fishermen, docks, and some of the best seafood on the East Coast, yet somehow everyone keeps ending up with the same imported fish on the menu. This isn’t a shot at anyone. It’s about reconnecting with where we actually are. Local black sea bass, fluke, porgy, tilefish, oysters and fish coming off boats a few miles away. Supporting the people who have been feeding this island for generations. The busiest private chef in the Hamptons can’t shop at Citarella? I wrote about why. Substack link in bio.

Meet Jonathan Rodriguez, our Anti-Corporate Chef. He came to us by way of Daniel, Dominique Crenn, and many more of the best kitchens in the world, the kind of places that train you to chase perfection on a plate. He brought that discipline with him to the North Fork, but he left the ego at the door. His mission at Wild Events is simple, and it’s the reason we hired him: keep us small, keep us honest, and keep us cooking for the farms that feed us. No shortcuts. No Sysco trucks. No mystery proteins. No chasing scale at the cost of soul. Just real food, from real people, served on real plates. That’s it. That’s the post. #WildEvents #MeetTheTeam #AntiCorporateChef

Michael will play a pivotal role at Wild Events, managing and updating live inventory across more than 70 small farms, fisheries, and artisan vendors in real time. This allows us to build menus around what is actually coming out of the fields, off the boats, and in season, rather than relying on static offerings or larger vendors. He will also be present at events, helping tell the story behind the ingredients by speaking with guests about the farms, wineries, fishermen, and producers alongside myself and the team.

385 years measured in harvests, not headlines. About 60% of my business is in the Hamptons. I cooked there for years and still do, just on my own terms now. But the North Fork is a chef’s paradise and my home. More farms. More fishermen. More dirt under your fingernails. More soul. Most of what ends up on Hamptons tables starts here first.
