Chef Haydee Collado (@chefhaydee ) is bringing her story â and her cooking â to the 2026 Culinary Careers Program Los Angeles Gala this Friday, May 15. â¨â
â
A proud Câ˘CAP alum, Marine veteran, pilot, educator, and chef, Haydeeâs journey is a testament to the life-changing power of opportunity, resilience, and community. After first joining Câ˘CAP as a teenager, she went on to serve in the United States Marines, attend both the Institute of Culinary Education and Johnson & Wales, cook for high-profile clients around the world, and now is a high school educator in Miami.â
â
This Friday, Chef Haydee will create the hors dâoeuvres for cocktail hour on the Great Lawn at Jonathan Club Downtown LA, helping open doors for the next generation, just as Câ˘CAP once did for her. â¤ď¸â
