Did a #BhuRadio šŸ––šŸ½ I love making playlists and I love Bhu so this worked well (esp for my mental health hahahaha) šŸ¤šŸ½ first pour for bhu is how I feel right now - tough but soft. Link in bio! Also, if you swipe, you’ll see some bts that goes down when it does with @peachisha + me + our sense of humor and mild (lol) obsession with šŸŒž light šŸŒž. Also an Amrit sandwich at the end with bhu mama and @thekhos , just cause.

I mostly end up talking about food here, amongst a few other things… not commenting on a lot that’s happening in the world. At least not directly. Because I don’t quite know how to convert my feelings towards all that into words. As often as I do, convert sadness into gratitude. Grateful for a lot of things, big and small ~ love, family, bees and trees, and food… like this Caesar salad at Tien 🌓 The first Caesar salad I ever liked. The first one which had anchovies in its dressing. Amongst other beautiful things - like šŸ§„ and šŸ§€ This salad was beyond just lettuce and croutons. It had Avocado Poached egg Nicely poached chicken And most of all, it didn’t have mayonnaise from a jar. It had anchovies! Whisked with egg yolk, Parmesan, Dijon 😭 I - loved - this salad. It made me appreciate something that I never did, because I never saw its true, intended form. I’m so thankful for all the things I got to eat, get to eat, get to experience. It makes me grateful, and not take these moments for granted. Because nothing is permanent Except impermanence. And it really helps me to be in the now. And With everything happening, for what feels like the longest time, it helps me to be grateful for the littlest of everyday things. I don’t think I can take anything for granted - including all the tiny things in my everyday life Like the music I listen to The trees The birds Bees Like this Caesar salad… with anchovies!!!! Thank you, universe Thank you @tien.goa <3

Used to think I didn’t sync with women on vocals (after a phase of Avril Lavigne and Evanescence in the 2000s, obv). But then after a few years things started changing and I found myself liking some of these tracks bit by bit. Recently, I tried a small experiment - could I listen to an all-female vocal playlist? Turns out I could. And i love it. One of my favourite realisations/discoveries was finding tracks that don’t just talk about heart break. Like damnnnn move on, nexttt. I think, I THINK, there’s more to us than that. The tracks in this ā€˜list are mostly recent, non mopey, mellow to slightly up (and then some, cuz nia archives šŸ’…šŸ„) made for daytime zoning-in, being productive without pressure, easy. šŸ“¢ Also a nice list if you’re in the zone to not listen to a dude for a sec 🤪 Fourth Pour for @bhuliving : Unlearning Link in bio. Tune in. šŸ“»

This is a S/O to having a smartly stocked kitchen, with clean, yum ingredients šŸ«°šŸ¼:) Which made prepping this wholesome brekky bowl so easy, quick and delicious. Had it early-morning, pre-flight - something I don’t usually do because, well, coffee takes precedence and I still don’t make sound decisions with everything in life šŸ™‚ This bowl though, took 2 minutes to prep. Thanks to the ingredients (and the self/universe, for keeping them stocked) šŸ„šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø šŸ„› Poured some unsweetened Greek yogurt by @epigamia.official šŸ“ Sliced some strawberries, fresh from mama Earth ā£ļø 🄣 Sprinkled the @bhuliving granola and @true.elements chia seeds 🄜 Added a spoon of @thewholetruthfoods peanut butter Everything landed in the bowl simply because it was at home. Serendipitous. Modern capitalisation. Very satisfying - and not bad if you’re a little mindful about reading labels. šŸŒøšŸ·ļø I could’ve grated some 99% dark šŸ« too, cause it was in the fridge, maybe next time. The bowl kept me energised through a full day of travel cabs, flight, cabs in Delhi (special mention). Some geek šŸ¤“ Why this bowl (and having such ingredients stocked) works from AM to PM (brekky, mid-day snack, post-workout fuel) • Protein from Greek yogurt - keeps you full, supports muscle recovery • Carbs + fibre from fermented granola - steady energy, no spikes • Good fats from nuts & seeds - slow digestion, keep things balanced • Light sweetness + antioxidants from strawberries - recovery-friendly, easy on the system. Plus, the sheer happiness of eating fresh, seasonal fruit. Oof. 🄰 No added sugar <3 the fruits and the light honey in the granola take care of it. Easy. Simple. So fulfilling.

When I first got alopecia areata last year, the dermatologists told me to chill and stress less. It made sense then - it was close to my 2023 incident, so yeah trauma-induced stress. And the year itself was ā€œinterestingā€, so i was like cool cool cool… it checks out. But this year? I’ve been pretty chill. Or so I think. Lol. The subconscious is a very mysterious little thing. So when the alo returned now, it made me go ā€œwtf :(ā€œ - because I was eating well, sleeping well, work was good, personal life was chill. And yet… here we are. Turns out ā€œseriousnessā€ can turn into subliminal stress if you don’t tell your brain to calm tf down. Serious about cleaning the house. Serious about finishing work on time. Serious about being healthy. PSYCHE. And the funniest (rudest) part: stress can cause alopecia, and alopecia can cause stress. Life really threw an ā™¾ļø feedback loop at me hehe. So when the dermatologist recently met me, looked at my diet and said, ā€œEverything’s fine. Just don’t stress,ā€ I was like … yo doc… wow. That’s easy. Jokes aside: back to yoga, on full. Maybe Excel is the real trigger. Moral of the share tho: ShšŸt can happen even when you think everything’s all good. What should help (for me) is not taking things so seriously - and practicing a little detachment. Here, with hair. A constant test, that i hope to pass. Lalalalala. šŸ“· what you see in the frame are the young ones growing from my alo last year. Being rebellious. Grateful tho :)
